"Kolu" traditional display of religious and non- religious arranged on nine step staircase

Navarathri Festival was held on September 30th 2006 at the New Kathiresan Hall in Bambalapitya. The cultural event was organized by the Ministry of Religious Affairs along with Department of Hindu Religious and Cultural Affairs.

A colourful cultural evening was attended by several music and dancer lovers in Colombo. A beautiful artistic dance performance was presented by experienced Tamil and Sinhala dancers.

"Nayagi Nee Ennai Maravai Amma; Vanna Vanna Selai Kattum Meenakshi" is being sung by Isaikuyil Meenakshi Vengadesan
